Technology is a big part of our social distancing these days. While we are physically told to stay apart, it's more important to stay connected through the digital world. This helps us during these trying times and keeps our spirits high. There is currently one case (resolved) in Wikwemikong and we must keep safe by keeping our social distancing in place. Using our computers and phones is a key part of this. We are working on a program to help those who cannot afford to have their computers and tablets fixed. For now, We have used our printing connections and ordered reusable face shields to aid in protecting our most vulnerable.

This program has finished. We can still obtain face shields and you can buy them from our online store. but low demand had us end the giveaway. We have given out 50 shields to community members and we hope they did their small part to help prevent the transmission of COVID.  If even one person was protected by one of the face shields, we would call that a win.

We will turn our focus to providing inexpensive computers and repairs to community members.
